When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you place an order, we collect your delivery address. Sellers provide product information and community membership details.

2. How We Use It

Your information is used to process orders, facilitate communication between buyers and sellers, and improve the platform. Delivery addresses are shared only with the seller fulfilling your order and platform administrators.

3. Payment Data

Payment processing is handled by M-Pesa (Safaricom) and Paystack. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN or card details. We store transaction references for order reconciliation.

4. Data Protection

Your data is stored securely with row-level access controls. Only you can see your orders and delivery addresses. Sellers can only see the information necessary to fulfill your order.

5. Your Rights

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data. Contact us at support@komiunity.vercel.app for any data requests.
